This painting was made during my "stencil era". Unlike other works I produced in 2020-2021, this one doesn't depict a political or societal issue: it addresses my emotions in a direct, unfiltered way. This piece is a true milestone in my art career, as it pushed me to explore my inner world even further from then.
"Rebirth" shows a character who, after going through a painful period of mourning (see the other two works in the triptych), manages to rediscover meaning and taste in his existence through colours. These colours represent, among other things, the new presence of art in my daily life.
