Oasis

"Oasis", like "Window on the Desert", is a representation of a man whose gaze invites us to reflect. Once again, his turban, as an element of drapery, leaves few parts of his face uncovered. The emphasis is on his eyes.
This work depicts the suffering endured by the Kurdish people, a cause with which I sympathize, and which was introduced to me in depth by Amir, an activist of Kurdish origin whom I met in the Montreal art scene.
