All Eyez On Us

To mark the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop, I had the pleasure and honour of taking part in the "Under Pressure" mural art festival in Montreal.
I'm keenly aware of the origins of Hip-Hop culture, and more specifically of the graffiti subculture born in North America, so I wanted to pay tribute to one of its most faithful ambassadors: Tupac Shakur.
His profound lyrics and captivating gaze made him a subject of interest to me in this context.
This work, located on Montreal's biggest commercial thoroughfare, is intended to be a window between popular Quebec culture and the often relegated Hip-Hop scene.
