The Wise Man

Like many artists, I kept my drawings secretly hidden in a notebook for a long time. In 2018, I had the privilege of meeting Eberhard Froehlich, a professor at the Académie des Beaux-Arts de Montréal (Fine Arts Academy). He allowed me to attend life modelling sessions occasionally and improve my drawing technique. This enabled me to gain confidence in my creations and, later, to create bigger pieces of work like murals.
This modest drawing, "The Wise Old Man", is a tribute to the hundreds (or perhaps thousands) of drawings I made before, during and after my time at the Beaux-Arts.
