Artwork created during the Jackalope Festival in Montreal on the stand of my partner Immense Lifestyle.
The Universe is a theme that has fascinated me since my childhood. I can't count how many days I've spent learning about the wonders of the sky.
The man depicted in this work seems lost in the dark of night, lighting a torch to orient himself. He points it at the sky, as if he wanted to tint the stars with the colors of his smoke.
This introspective, melancholic work reflects much of my early artistic career.
Passers-by genuinely liked this artwork at the Jackalope Festival, which delighted me.
